in conclusion i still don't know what the fuck is going on or what the story is all about. 10/10 best psychotic break ive had so far
update 2026/03/07: found a really good youtube video going over the game. the one truly horrifying takeaway i have from it is unlike the anime (where lain sort of didn't actually exist in the real world), she's just a disturbed girl who THINKS she can exist on the net. there's no real her online, just a composite she uploaded that sort of acts like her. and that only makes dc1057 sting that much more knowing that there is no happy ending for anyone involved. no passing on, no connection, just death (well at least in the game)
